The Leslie County Judicial Center Project was authorized by the General Assembly in 2022. The maximum annual use allowance is $1.5 million.
The project is currently under Phase C design and is expected to be completed in 2028. The Leslie County Judicial Center will be a two-story facility that houses all court services for Leslie County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk’s office and statewide programs.
The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the first Thursday of the month. PDB members include Leslie Judge Executive William Lewis, Chief Circuit Judge Oscar House, Chief District Judge Henria Bailey-Lewis, Leslie County Circuit Clerk Carmolitta Morgan Vice Chiar, Kentucky Bar Association Representative Jessica Lewis and Citizen At Large Phyllis Griffie.
