Owsley County Judicial Center

The Owsley County Judicial Center was authorized by the General Assembly in 2024. The maximum annual use allowance is $1 million. The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in 2029/2030. The Owsley County Judicial Center will house all court services for Owsley County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk's office and statewide programs.​​

The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the second Friday of every month. PDB members include CJE Zeke Little Jr., District Judge William Leach, Circuit Judge Michael Dean, Circuit Clerk Phyllis Cornett, Citizen at Large Mayor Nelson Bobrowski and KBA Rep. Bill Meader. The Owsley County PDB has yet to select an architect, construction manager and financial advisor.
